About Me

Hello, I’m Dr. Glenice Glover, an accomplished gospel guitarist with a deep love for both the instrument and the people I teach. As a childhood protégé with over 50 years of experience, it brings me great joy to guide aspiring guitarists on their journey to mastering gospel music. Witnessing the excitement and enthusiasm in new students as they learn is truly fulfilling and I cherish the opportunity to encourage and support young guitarists along the way. Growing up in the South, I was introduced to the guitar at the tender age of 8 by my father, who patiently taught me and my five siblings. Each of us chose an instrument, and Daddy dedicated himself to ensuring we played with confidence and skill. My background in gospel quartet guitar has honed my ear for chord progressions and enhanced my ability to teach the instrument effectively. After retiring from a rewarding 35-year career, I have embraced my passion for music by sharing my knowledge with aspiring guitarists. My goal is to help them play melodically and confidently, creating music that inspires.

  • You find it tough to strum the guitar properly

Coordinating your hands can be challenging as you navigate chord fingering on the guitar with your left hand while managing your right hand's movements.
